Well I had a busy weekend, crafting with my daughter. We were getting ready for Halloween at school and decided to get all her class treats ready. She was so excited to put these together, I came up with the layout/design and my daughter put the entire project together except the twine. I was so proud of her, she is really starting to pick up her crafting skills. With just a little guidance and assistance she is starting to become a master at this =)
We had a great time in my studio all afternoon on Sunday, it was good bonding time. This year her school has told the kids that they are not allowing candy at the school. I was of course a little bummed at first, but we made do and decided to pick up glow necklaces for everyone. Makes for safe kids on Halloween night, so I was happy about that.
I decided to share some photos of my little helper hard at work =)

She didn't even struggle with keeping everything lined up, she really was a pro at putting these little treats together.
Her using the big shot was my favorite part, she struggled getting the thinlits thru and was scared when it cracked but with a little shuf and push she got it thru. It was so cute, not sure if you can tell but in the right photo she has a big grin on her face from all the pushing. It was priceless and I enjoyed every minute watching her.
And this was my girls end result. She did such a great job =) I forgot to snag a photo of her holding it, will try to remember this for next time.
Simple yet super fun treats, with some fun color combos. I used the retired Black glitter paper for these as well, wanted to make some use of it. Plus I figured it would be nice to have some variety. My daughter is super pumped to hand these out in a few weeks.
Thanks for stopping in today, I hope you enjoyed our Halloween inspiration treats. What are you putting together for your kids school this year, anything exciting? Be sure to share your website below and I would love to see your projects.
Enjoy the rest of your week, and make it crafty!
