I was thrilled to be asked to get in on the opportunity and even though time has been a bit crazy lately I made sure I was able to make it happen.
So here is my creative projects I would like to share with you today.
1. What are you working on?
Currently I am not working on anything particular I am just always working on something, lately a little more Christmas than anything else. I am running 2 classes this month alongside my monthly club which are both Christmas themed, one is a advent calendar class and the other is Christmas tag a bag stamp a stack which I have used the Under the Tree tag a bag kit as a compliment to my cards. Hope to run 2 more classes in December so will be working on setting some of these up as well, more than likely a tag class and possibly a garland class for your fireplace =)
2. How does your work differ from others in your genre?
Well even though I may look at pinterest for inspiration at times I always like to create something different than what I might see, I love detail but I also love clean. I go outside the box when creating and really just try to put my own twist on all my projects. I consider my projects intricate and full of color and layering and just anything that pops off the page.
3. Why do you create what you do?
Well I like to fill my brain with new ideas and when I might be working on something I already have another idea in my head for my next project. I run a monthly club and I also like to run classes on a monthly basis too so honestly this is why I create and why I don't stop I absolutely LOVE every minute of it and can never get enough.
4. How does your creative process work?
Well as I mentioned before I am on pinterest a fair amount, this is where I always get a lot of inspiration on new ideas but I am not really much of a caser and I would much rather put my own spin on my projects than always copy someone else's however I have done this on occasion if I just love what that person put together. I love looking at what people come up with and it only helps the juices flow in my own mind for something new and fun and exciting.
In order for me to come up with any ideas or to just start on a project I start by going thru my stamp sets and picking one that stands out to me and then from there I go to my DSP and look at what kind of color scheme I want to work with and then I add in the embellishments and the little extras to make my projects lift off the page and catch the eye. This is my method in almost all cases and it always seems to work.
Well that was a fun little creative task, now to nominate 2 other wonderful ladies with their blogs.
I would like to nominate Jamie Westerhof, she is one of my fellow Stampin' Up demonstrators on my up lines team and I absolutely adore this woman. She has really become one of my dearest friends and I always look up to her and the ways that she is as a person she is so caring and unbelievably passionate about life and always sees the good in everything she does. Her blog hop post will be posted on November 24th check back for the link to check out her amazing crafting ability!
Next I would like to nominate Sarah Sagert, another fellow Stampin' Up demonstrator on my up lines team I have gotten to know her thru fellow monthly stamp nights with friends and I had the privilege of attending Convention with her which is where we got to know each other even more. This woman is amazing and truly one of the most caring people I know and always has the greatest smile on her face in all situations. She is bubbly and sweet and all over a blessing to have as a friend. She has been nominated as an Artisan Designer for many years in a row as her talent is out of this world, I very often look to her work for inspiration and ideas cause I love her style. So don't miss her blog hop on November 24th once again check back for the link!
Thanks so much for stopping by today I hope you enjoyed this one a little out of my realm but I really enjoyed being a part of this creative blog hop.
Have a crafty day!
