Anyway moving on, so I saw this technique in our magazine and wanted to try my own version of it. It was a little tough, as I was having a difficult time getting my embossing powder to stick to my watercolor paper, of course it probably didn't help that I used a detailed stamp. Either way I was still happy with it.
- Stamp your image in {Versamark} ink onto your {watercolor paper}
- cover the image with {white stampin' emboss powder} and heat set
- then heavily wash over your stamped image using an {aqua painter} and plain water
- with your wet brush tip pick up some ink and place it onto the wet areas, no need to brush it just let the water make its mark
- add additional colors by following the previous step.
That's it, pretty simple right - thank you Stampin' Up for teaching us new techniques.
Hope your having a great week so far, and have a crafty day!
